Technically, Russian Arc is an astounding and path breaking film. The movie was shot in 96 minutes in one take and without any cuts whatsoever! Just amazing. Recorded in high definition video directly to disk and, then, edited and printed on 35 mm.

I didn't like Kill Bill very much and I'm a big Tarantino fan too! Whats up with that movie?Baluardo said:I'm not talking of big film competition awards (oscar etc..) here, but real life.
Which films impressed you the most for the quality of photography?
I'd like to have your suggestions so I can learn more watching the ones i don't know already.
One of the best i can think ok is the KILL BILL saga (even though i didnt like them as films as a whole, which is weird as a Tarantino fan).
Another one I loved from the photography point of view was 'AMELIE' (successful 2001 french film)
contribute to my list!

Totally incredible. I'm really dissapointed to see that audiences will completely miss it and dismiss it because of it's lack of conformity to standardized story structure.clumsy_cool said:Has anyone seen the movie "STAY" cause that was clearly the masterpiece. If you haven't seen it, go, GO NOW !!! lol.
