About to purchase and wanted to see which one to go with.

Zacuto Z-Finder EVF Pro (3.2")

Cineroid EVF4MHH - METAL EVF HDMI LOOP-THRU

OR

SMALL HD DP4

I'm sure the new Sony extension tube for the F3 (similar to the FS100 and shown at NAB this year) was shipping in November.

They all do the same thing, but in a different way (optically and ergonomically). You want know what is the best for you until you try them all...

Go SDI and never have to worry about messing with HDMI. Your going to wish you had it. HDMI is only for DLSR marketing.
Cineroid metal. I have one and it's just the right size, does it's job just fine. It has no problem with 24 PsF. It's not HD but none are. SmallHD's are nice, but that thing is huge and has pain in the butt HDMI. Zacuto...meh...HDMI... Extension tube is just going to break and not be in the ideal location. My 2 cents.

Plus, Cineroid is coming out with a wired remote for one touch focus assist menu items. Just tap with your thumb at the hand grips, no removing hand to fuss with menus on VF.

I still say someone is going to build a loupe (like the Hoodman) for a true HD small monitor (like the TVLogic) that has SDI and have the best of both worlds. Just a rubber sleeve that would extend the Hoodman loupe that many of us have would work.

None of them really impress me.
And for crying out loud, can they not add some IR coating or something to keep the screen from burning?

Someone has got to come up with something much better than the current offerings.

An IR coating will not stop the heat from a magnified direct sun. It's has always been,.... a shooting 101 basic. Never have the VF pointed up at the sun. Problem solved.
