Which EF lenses?

Shoot mostly ENG style corporate shoots.
Some events, but mostly sit-downs and office broll etc...
Which EF lenses and why?

I have the Sony kit lens so im getting 27mm at 3.5 for wide stuff (ugh...but usable) but
thinking about the EF L 24-70 2.8 and then the EF L 50 1.2

Does the 50mm overlap make this s bad combo?

Or does using the kit lens and two primes make better sense?
(24mm 1.4 and 50mm 1.2)

Thoughts?

I would consider the 70-200 f2.8 IS L instead of the 50 1.2. Or even the 85 f1.2 for super SDOF if you are getting the 24-70 f2.8.

Rent the lenses and see what you think.

Agreed, the 70-200 2.8 would go nicely, expensive but worth it if your budget allows.
