Which DVX

:undecided Can any one please tell me which DVX I should get! It's my first camera and I could use some help.

There's the matter of the DVX100A or the DVX100AE which is I guess the upgraded version of the DVX100E. And last but not least whats better the PAL or the NTSC?

I apologize if these are extremly dumb questions but, I had to ask.

And the North American version's box is just as likely to be labelled 100AP, with the European model being the 100AE.

:thumbsup: Thanks for the info. So I just need to purchase a DVX AG 100A is that correct?! While we're at it is there any accessories I should buy for the camera right away?

Yep . DVX AG-DVX100A. If you're buying from within your area, you'll almost assuredly get the correct model for your area.

No harm in double-checking with them when you place the order, however.

Oh and be sure to buy from a reputable & authorized dealer. Browse the other forums (hardware & marketplace are good) for info on who NOT to buy from.

The full name is AG-DVX100AP (A is the "Advanced Version", and P is the "Panasonic America")
