Which DSLR for forests?

I know GH1 vs 7D threads are worthless, but this isn't really one. I only have one specific thing I'm looking for: which camera, if there is one, is less likely to screw up highly detailed scenes out in a forest? Forests are the easiest things to find here, so those are going to be most of my locations. I can only soften the background so much. And yes, I know none of them are ideal for that condition.

Having shot forest-ish things with the GH1 (before I swapped it out for a 7d), I can honestly say stay the heck away from the GH1 and its weak compression performance. The 7D may show a bit of aliasing if you have high contrast edges on a million little leaves waving in the wind, but overall it would be the one I choose. The T2i is good if you want to stick with the GH1's price point once you get a good walk-around lens on there.

7D will be more robust than the GH1 in that scenario, definitely. It's not perfect and it can still go smooshy/muddy, but it's much more resilient. Haven't tried a t2i in that scenario.
