i have to agree with the previous posts about start small. I started with a Phantom, crashed it many times, then a Phantom 2, crashed, the 3, little crash, then Inspire 1, which I haven't crashed yet (but almost did when i lost a propeller that was not tight enough). Some people are faster learners than others, I was the slower kind, but no one is great from the get go. I know you want to jump right in, but this is a very complex skill, you need to take the time to learn to fly, and learn about the equipment and it's limitations. Also, save your money, the newer Phantoms, and more so the new Inspire with the better camera, will give you really great results. I would skip using the GoPro cameras for filming because you have no manual exposure control, and really, how good can you get something in auto exposure? Get the Phantom 3 basic (or whatever it's called now) and get good with that. Then you can get the Inspire Pro and you might decide that this is all you need for now.
