Which Dolly should I buy?

You might want to do a search in the forums on Indie snap to see what others are saying on Indie snap in general.

I don't know what kinda of quality I'd expect out of either of those systems. Have you considered just renting one? Cinevate makes a cool looking dolly.

buelusa,

Are you needing curved track? Very easy to build a straight track skateboard dolly for under $100.

As much as I love the portability of the tracking dollies, I prefer either to use my slider (on tripod) or my homebuilt dolly which will run on standard Matthews track so I can rent the track for about $10 a day per piece and the dolly is mine.

Lots harder to pull focus on a 35mm adapter if you're using one while on a non-rideable tracking dolly too.

Pending your budget, my preference if you had about $2k to spend would be www.indiedolly.com - amazing dolly.

Indiesnap hasn't had very positive reviews of late. Tough to run a DIY business and work production but nonetheless, seems like a few have been screwed of late.

Kessler as a company rock. Love their crane. Again, not a huge fan of the expensive tracking dollies.
