Which Colour Correction software is best?

Im studying Media production and have had access to a selection of colour editing software's such as Adobe after effects, final cut color, color finesses, avid and fusion. I was wondering what the best software was to use in terms of color correction and why....
 
There are a lot of 'best's, it depends on the workflow and the results wanted. I use Colorista II (and sometimes a bit of Color Finesse) in either AE or PPro. People in the Apple world primarily use Color (or just use the 3 way color corrector in FCP).
 
Apple Color is my personal favorite since it give you everything you need and more. Its extremely powerful when you know how to use it. DaVinci Resolve is considered the industry standard, which offers almost the same features as Apple Color.
 
"Best" is a relative term. What's best for you may not be best for me, and what's best for me on one project may not be best for my next one.
