Which cameras do digital to analog pass through?

I am eventually going to get a DSR-11, but for now I am going to go the way of buying a cheap camera to use as a deck. I know this topic has been heavily covered on this forum, and I did use a search to find some info, but I couldn't seem to find a camera that will do digital to analog pass through, so that I can preview on a TV. I found plenty of suggestions for cameras, but does anyone know of a sub 500 dollar camera that will do digital to analog pass through?

I have a canon zr80 that does but it only has the mini to RCA outs no Svid out. Most Sony models have pass thru as well. Cant remeber how much i paid for the canon but it was well under 500 and have had no problems using as a deck or as a pass thru to tv when editing.

I'm pretty sure most, if not all decent DV cameras do this. Every one I've had does. Just look for Firewire Input, not just output. If it has that, it's definetly going to have D-A conversion. :)

The basic rule of thumb (and i'v never experienced otherwise) is that if you can get it on the screen of the Camera, it'll spit it out of all the outputs. - So if the cmaera has DV IN it'll send out Analog, and if your camera has Analog IN it'll (most always) spit it out the DV..except on a few older cameras where A-D conversion has to go to tape first. but that's not an isse on anything you'd gvet now that i know of.
