Which editing system supports the HVX's standard definition DVCPRO 50 and 25 codecs?
I wanted to upgrade to AVID XPress Pro HD and use DVCPRO Standard Definition material from my HVX as here in OLD Europe tv still has SD only (almost). :(
And as you guys in the US seem to be talking about HD only I couldn't find any clue searching this site.

Yes Avid XPress Pro HD does support DVCPRO50 and DVCPRO25. So does EDIUS Broadcast and FCP 5.1. I believe Avid Liquid does as well. And Sony Vegas can edit them both if you download the free Matrox DVCPRO50 codec pack.

Liquid won't support 24p footage though. That might be important if you're using the HVX.

Thanks for your quick help! My Avid dealer says, though, there is an upgrade to Avid Xpress Pro HD due to be released (in Europe) this month that might have some improvements in the workflow with P2 material.
