FS7: Where's the V3 update?

Surely Sony released it today, seeing as how it's Dec 31st and they kept saying it was coming in 2015... right?
 
Haha! Yep.
January is a long month, so I expect an announcement on the 31st saying the V3 firmware has been pushed back to Spring as they are still dealing with the FS5 issues/Processing power problems/Martians invading Earth.

As always, don't hold your breath.
 
Sony had indicated in December that the update would be postponed until January to work on issues with HFR Raw output. Meanwhile, continue to make money with your camera and update the firmware when it is released.
 
Did they indicate why in October it had been moved from October to December?

Did they indicate in December why they hadn't been looking at Raw issues when they had been flagged almost a year earlier?

Sony didn't indicate they are fixing the RAW output, that was a summation by Newsshooter, and probably wrong.
 
Yes. As far as I can tell... Sony (at least US division) hasn't officially said anything - other than when they are releasing new camera's. The info always comes from 2nd hand source... which I find curious...
