Where's the new "MySpace Music" ?

Sorry if I get off on the topic but here's an example of what I think is a good Japanese pop band, since folded. (I'll refrain form ranting. :)) Thank you for your patience.

To my dismay, and/or disappointment, I'm not hearing any love for this band. Maybe , I don't know. Timing I guess? I don't know. That's /was... a good band.

No offence Refocus but posting a link would have been nicer instead of having people google it to find a link if they even knew what you were talking about. Only takes a few seconds on your part dude.

Post some of your stuff here Refocus. Let's network. :) beers. Or in private if you like. I love to help out where ever I can. :)

I think "YouTube" could be the new big thing, it just hasn't focused on any specific market. I've been to several different countries ( non-English speaking countries ) and YouTube seems to be default medium for music marketing. No matter where you go, the locals know they can watch their favourite artists in YouTube. Problem is, many really good bands or artists do not have videos to put there. Also, YouTube is not geared towards networking.... it's quite messy and disorganized actually.

You use youtube to handle the video. Then you embed the video in your marketing site, blog, facebook page, etc., etc.

If someone develops a better music networking site cool, they'll probably still use youtube or vimeo to embed the videos. Why reinvent the wheel?

I think the links I posted are okay for networking. I don't think youtube is good for networking at all. Marketing? Yes. Networking? No.

Okay. I'm on European time. So, seriously, can someone give me an example of a North American Band, all females, that comes close to this (post #21)? Gawwwd, I'm just not seeing it in N.A.
I mentioned earlier that I think N.A is behind the times by about 4 years in commercial music . Let me extend that to at least 10 years. Can someone foooking talk to me? Preferably from another country? Jeeeez. LOL. Pleeease.

Ah. I do have one more all female band post from N.A. And yes, they have broken up too. Mannnnn!
