Where's Lauren Bacall's RIP thread?

[Emanuel]

Well, it looks like no one did it...

This woman who will be forever in the memory of whom have the luck to know who she is... died a few days ago and I found curious the absence of her name in one of the most interesting corners for filmmaking on internet... For sure, this won't happen in the Film Archives all over this planet.

People tend to follow the trend without minimal keys about the symbols who have made the history of this craft, it seems so.

I guess it speaks a lot about it, once the same doesn't happen with those in the proportion of the number of official page's followers on Facebook or Twitter. Sad and ignorant world we all live in.

RIP Lady of the screen!

Sorry for the rant,

E

"You know how to start a thread, don't you? Put your hands together... and write..."

RIP Lauren, say hi to Bogie for us...

One of the great actresses, and the perfect match for Humphrey Bogart. I read somewhere in one of the obits that she was the first actress entered into the IMDB system when it was starting up.

Every time, every time, I walk by the TV and see something she's in, I have to stop and watch. She's one of the very few actors than can do that to me. The world of cinema lost one of its great enduring lights.

To let everyone know how old I am...
I worked with her. I have to admit, not in features, but in advertising. Classy Dame...but she had a very dark, diva side.
