Where to submit my documentery

I just finished my first feature length documentary. It is about a marine who ran 50 miles to raise money for the son and wife of a fallen army solder. It is an inspirational doc. and I think it is pretty good. I shot it all on two 7Ds and edited in Final Cut Studio. I spend under $300 on the project. Runtime is 1:25. Here is the trailer.
So, What festivals should I submit to? I would like to at least get some kind of award that will help me sell it and get on IMDB. Its not going to win Sundance or anything, but I think it could get some awards at smaller fests.

That looks great! Getting on IMDb requires being publicly screened (like at a festival, tv, theatrical release, etc). You don't necessarily have to sell it to get on - wish you the best for the project!

Thanks!

Yeah, I was a little confusing about IMDB. I want to get it screened so I can get on IMDB. I want to win some awards to help sell it :)

So, any suggestions on Fests? I am located n between nashville and Memphis, So naturally I will submit to those cities fests. What others should I consider?

But you are too late for this i guess because it runs on 17 / 28 november 2010.

I would love to see the whole documentary, liked the trailer and the subject.

You don't have to have it screened to get on IMDB. Join Withoutabox.com and you'll find numerous festivals that just have to receive your submission for you to receive a free IMDB title page. IMDB owns withoutabox.
