Where to set O DB Slate Tone?

Hello,

I purchased a Sound Device Mix Pre to use with the HVX200 and am unsure about where I should be placing a O db slate tone on the HVX audio scale. Straight up on the HVX gain control knob places O db on about the right white line, which allows for about +12 to +16 db on the Mix Pre without getting the red clipping indicator on the HVX.

Any suggestions?
