Where to rent Wireless Follow Focus in Los Angeles?

[ozzymandius]

So I have my Letus Extreme and am gearing up to shoot a doc.

Does anyone here know where I can get a GREAT (i.e. cheap) rental price on a Bartech wireless follow focus (with motor) in Los Angeles? A google search yields very few choices.

If not a Bartech, what other reliable wireless FF is out there for rent in L.A.?

Any references or suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks!

i know redrock plans on releasing one shortly, you should check up on them.

Redrock has been "just about" to release their BFD kockoff for a while now. I wonder when/if we'll actually see it.

Ozzy, check with local Steadicam operators in the area (http://www.steadicam-ops.com/database/soaListName.php?recordID=California), most of them will have FF in their kit and many are happy to rent them out at pretty resonable rates.

Been waiting on Redrock for a long while. I'm on their reservation list but I don't think they'll be shipping until February at the earliest.

Good idea on steadicam guys...I'll start there.
