Where to purchase?

Just received approval to purchase the JVC HD100uA and recently read that EVs is no longer giving discounts to DVXusers? Is Abel cine giving discounts?
I know B & H is selling for 5200 so any suggestions where to buy?
I am looking at either EVS, Abelcin, or Tapeworks. Who would you buy from?
Also I am going to purchase the Cantori focus tripod . I really liked the viten 3 but I heard great things about this tripod. Can someone tell me the difference between stage 1 and stage 2 legs? Is it worth the extra $75?
Respond quickly so I can purchase it before the free battery deadline.

Tapeworks is offering the camera in the "A" version and are still honoring the IDX kit until the end of the month. You are going to NEED a battery solution. Might as well get it included for free...

I just wired money to tapeworks for my hd100a. Scott Cantrell is a nice guy and very attentive to his customers.

So pending something catostrophic, looks like i'm in the family now.

Now then, anyone heard any good HVX200 jokes lately?
