Can anyone recommend the most cost effective way to print a bunch of full sized movie posters?

Worst case scenario I will print smaller sizes but figured maybe someone knows a good place where you can get a discount on bulk posters... Probably need a couple hundred!

FedEx/Kinko's. If you're near a decent, non chain copy shop with a wide format printer, I'd go there.

The problem with offset printing is you need to print a decent quantity to pay for the costs of making printing plates and setting up the press; it's often 1000-2000.

Short-run digital presses have made the cost-per of lower runs (5 to a couple hundred copies) more attractive - but most of the max out at around 12x18 (with trim, this accommodates the US page size of 11x17, which folds to the stock 8.5 x 11).

Large format printing is good for one-offs or a dozen copies. But the standard one-sheet movie poster is about 27x40, so it gets pricey fast.

Things are evolving in the print business, so google terms like "poster printing" and find the web sites with size & quantity calculators - you'll get an idea pretty quickly.
