Last year I interviewed Miles Davis autobiographer Quincy TRoupe..........Killer Interview!!! Also did a 3 cam video shoot with him doing a performance peice.............I got distracted while watching footage on the LCD after the show,took a long phone call,and came back to find tape jammed in the GL2............The battery ran out! It really messed up my friends camera.................This footage is important to me . Anybody out there who repairs tapes? Yes..... I know about Specs Bros in S.F. $85 bare minimum charge! I don't trust myself with this footage! Suppose someday I will practice butchering my MQ tapes but have never experienced this with my DVX.....I'm quite sure it shuts down properly in play mode as it does when in record mode! Anyone experienced in repairing mini-DV tapes? Help! Unclemort
