Where to get a good cheap tripod in the UK?

OK, I know the question of what budget (i.e. on the £100 mark) tripod to get has been asked and asked to death, but I need somewhere to buy one in the UK. Quick shipping is a must, we start shooting in 8 days  (I know, planning planning etc.)

Does anyone know of a good mail order shop/website to find something no more than £120, with a head, that will get to me by the beginning of next week?

Thanks

Thanks, those look to be about the right kind of level I am after, the evsonline seems only to ship to Canada and US though. I will try scouring for UK companies (some luck)
Thanks for the info

B&H seems a better bet, but the thing putting me off is the shipping charge - $70 at the least to get it in time for the shoot. This would mean going for a lower priced tripod, something I really dont want to do. I reckon I cant spend more than £130 all in ($230ish).

Another reason why US has the UK firmly beaten for filming!

That's unfortunate. You could always check some local photography stores to see if they have any used tripods. Although they might not have anything that would work for video. Good luck on finding a UK distributor!

Mattflan, I just bought my Manfrotto 503/525 in UK on Tuesday and received here in Portugal on Friday, the price was the best I could find. If you want I can give you the contact. Don't buy outside the European Union, you'll pay extra taxes and VAT. B&H is an excelent option... but not for us in Europe.

I think you will struggle to find anything for £130 in the UK. Having said that have a look at these sites:

Or you could try and get lucky on Ebay.co.uk!

Have not used any of the above, so can't say if they are any good. The Velbon DV-7000 at £99 looks flimsy especially, but their still photography tripods are OK.

Suspect you will quickly get frustrated with using a tripod without a fluid head, lockable pan & tilt head with a levelling bowl of some kind. If it's only for a couple of days, why not hire for now and save up for a better one!

Good luck.
Eric

Yeah, I think I may be struggling within the budget - unfortunately the shoot is going to be 3 weeks, so hiring is probably out of the option. Hmmm I guess we will have to squeeze money from elsewhere, or resort to the dv-rig for static shots
Thanks
