Hey guys,
I'm pretty new to this board & have learned a lot about my DVX100a. I read the article at the top of the page about cleaning the recording heads and wanted to give it a shot.
I've looked at every local store and cannot find the right supplies. I've been to two local camera stores, Best Buy, and Radio Shack & have not had any luck (I live in Boulder, CO.)
Is there a chain store that sells what I need, or do can you guys recommend someone online?
Also, I can't find gaffer's tape for the life of me. Any suggestions?
I don't know if it helps or not, but here's what the article says I need:
- Pure (>99%) Isopropanol or recording head cleaner.
- Synthetic chamois recording head-cleaning swabs.
- Rubber cleaning fluid.
- Gaffer's tape
Thanks in advanced,
Hugo
