SHORT: Where to find internet short movies?

[hellboy80]

I'm developing a TV series (for a local TV station) that would show interesting short films from aspiring "internet" filmmakers from all over the world. The only problem is: whe dont have any money to pay them. So I'm looking for filmmakers who can allow us to broadcast their movies for free. I hope its realizable
Could you recommend me any websites/internet channels where could I find interesting short films with contacts to its filmmakers? I know about Vimeo and YouTube of course, but I would be greatful for any other recommendations.

Film School Rejects posts a short film every day. A lot of horror stuff especially this time a year, but they have archives.

Usually I just troll Youtube/Vimeo. Also, try searching this forum. I think there are a few different threads of user aggregated shorts.

Does this local TV station plan to sell commercial time in this program -- thus making money from it? Do they plan to pay YOU for the program? I'm just trying to get at why the filmmakers won't be paid. Don't get me wrong -- if they're okay with it, that's fine with me. But you'd probably get a lot better quality films if you could work out a way to pay the filmmakers.

Of course, if you and the TV station do plan to make money off this project, then you absolutely should pay the filmmakers for their hard work.

I agree with you, but the budget is zero at this time. The TV station will only broadcast the show, nothing else. I hope I will find some sponsor and then I would have at least some money for the production (editing etc. and maybe even the filmmakes). There will be no commercial breaks. If I would have money, I would definitely pay them.
