GH4 where to buy lenses from and where not to?

Hi all

Just ordered my GH4 body (excited) and after chatting to the people in this forum I'm going to order a panasonic 12-35mm f2.8 lens (I am based in the UK)..

However, I have noticed some suppliers i.e. eBay shops , slrhut etc selling for £580ish and other companies like CVP are £850ish

Am i missing something here? always gone for the best price via the internet

Should a 2nd hand lens be an option?

You could it all depends how well you look after your kit.

I bought my 12-35 and 35-100 lenses used off of Kijiji and saved quite a bit of money.

Kijiji allows you to meet with the seller face to face - you can bring your camera body with you to test out the lens.

If you leave near a relatively certain I would recommend checking it out

I find that photo people who buy high ens lenses generally take excellent care of them and are honest
 
Thanks 'true north' but Kit is right, I'm based in the UK, thanks for trying though..

Someone has thrown a spanner in the works stating the olympus 12-40mm f2.8 hmmmm
