Where to buy GH1

Can anyone recommend where to buy a GH1. Are all the authorized dealers sold out?

Yes, no authorized dealer currently have GH1 available. There are some news that Panasonic Direct has started shipping out pre-orders so there is a chance that we might start seeing them in stock soon.

Ebay has a new USA one for $1875 right now. Bing cashback is at 12% ($200 max per purchase), so $1675 after the cashback. Not as outrageous as some other listings, for those who want one in a hurry.

I would love to get one now, but I absolutely refuse to pay over MSRP for it. I hate all the scammers and scalpers, and I will not support them. I waited two extra months for a Wii after Christmas, I can be patient on this. I'm calling able cine tomorrow and if they don't charge sales tax I'll put down a deposit. It's really stupid that Panasonic direct charges sales tax.

Any info on when which US stores are said to be getting some? Or which online shops are most likely to get supply first, BH, Amazon? So far its sounding like the LX3 -- place your preorder and hope one shows up. I have a few trips coming up this fall and thinking about upgrading my FZ28 + HF100 combo.

So far, the only place that seems to have received the new shipment is Panasonic direct. Rest of the online retailers are still waiting for their shipments and there is no firm ETA.
