They seem to be Singapore based and I consider

Where to buy DVX100A in the US?
IS there a reliable dealer selling dvx100A for less than $3500?
I've checked bhphotovideo.com and abelcine.com ($3499/$3495).
buydig.com / dbuys.com still don't have it. I am not interested in ebay.
I need to buy it before 2004 for tax purposes.

yes, it seems that they want to sell out their dvx100s,
I sent them an email for a quotation on the 100a, but
didn't receive a reply yet.
Concerning Sim Lim: (for those not familiar with electronics shopping: Sim Lim Square is a six-storey heaven on earth
full of electronics stores.) My experience is that the shops there mainly sell typical consumer goods. A DVX100a might be a too professional product for Sim Lim. But anyway I'll check.

Has anybody ever ordered something from profeel (camerawise)? It seems like a pretty good deal, $100 less than B&H and Abel. I was about to order from abel untill I saw that Profeel had it for this price. I looked up their feedback, and it is also quite good.

I've purchased a three chip camera from Profeel and everything went great. Since then, I've seen customer reviews on various sites around the web, and Profeel gets very good reviews. There are other places that have lower prices, but most of them get horrible reviews, try bait & switches, etc (i.e., you never actually get the product for the low price they advertise). Profeel seems to have the lowest prices among the reputable dealers. For me, the big drawback is that they are in New York State, so I have to pay sales tax (so is B & H). 8% tax on a DVX100A makes a huge difference, so I look around. For those of you outside New York, you're not likely to find much better than Profeel. Also their site is great and I visit it often.
