I was roaming the streets of singapore to take photographs and I found one panasonic dealer, looked like a warehouse outlet or something .Then i saw many many hvx boxes.....The price was so low(was below 5000$us,a year ago that was very cheap). I tried to buy one from them. Then i had to wait for the manager to come back from his lunch... he then remembered he can only sell to india. You might be able to get one if your a good talker and pay cash. I got into trouble later quoting his price at the other stores....ahahha they would not give it to me. One seller asked the see the business card of the dealer offering such a low price. He very cleverly forgot to give me back the card and made sure i got his instead....All i remember is it was in the area were they sell motorbike components. It was walking distance from sim lim square.

I think i remember seeing a Singaporean being active on this board ....maybe he knows the place.

Other wise. Theyre is one or two shops selling proffesionnal video equipment in sim lim square itself. The shops are on the ground floor and you enter from outside. One is near a magazine stand. The price theyre was so so. But still below list price.

Good luck
-Pierre
