hey guys
i am headed to best buy tomorrow to check out the d90 and get my hands on it. is movie mode on the dial or is it in the menu of the camera? will it be obvious how to get the camera into movie mode once i put hands on it? let me know what i am looking for.
thanks

thanks... will it have to have a card in the camera bc best buy typically does not have cards in their cameras???

Lol, how would we know if it had a card in it? You could give us the number to the store and we could call for you. :)

If your asking if a memory card is included with camera, I believe the answer is no.

The d90 takes sdhc cards (recommended), you can get them pretty cheap now. You can get a 8 gb card for under $40. Newegg.com has some really good deals.

Another thing is to do exposure lock when your actually filming a movie so the shutter speed does not auto change.

You will have to change this in the menus so that when you press the auto exp. lock once it holds.

Go ahead and sign the petition.

Lol artforme very nice. Taking initiative to make a chance! I'm signing it even though I don't have a d90!

i was asking if the camera sitting out on the best buy table would have to have a SDHC card in it for me to take advantage of the live mode... i wasn't asking if it would have one if i bought it- c'mon...
anyway, sorry for the confusion and thanks for the help.
