I'm junkying on Invasion of the Body Snatchers and drinking some White Zinny.

The HVX is out of my price point; sides I got's me a house to purchase in about 4 months

i'll agree w/ that. content is king.---> it will all play out.

(re: the tikki bar scene) i wondered how that shot got in there... the image was crisp, but not well lit @ all (imho). content is still king.
 
I just bought a 100B....cause the HVX is way too much. Its gonna take years to get this one paid off though. Either way i agree that good story telling is more important. A DVX is enough i think to have your film taken seriously.
 
Personally, I think the HVX will demonstrate in the most vivid, sharp and beautiful way why most people need to keep their day jobs.

Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing cam. Out of my league AND budget.

Just don't remember such anticipation for a camera before...

Hope they do ok with sales. :cheesy:
