Where do you think is the perfect place to write?

I know a writer for a network TV show who writes in strip clubs in the afternoon. I would find that distracting.

You find the place that works best and write there.

I suppose you might get used to it if you go daily as it would become just like any bar or coffee shop once you tune out the 'show' and they tune you out and leave you to your writing.

Just don't see why one would do it there rather than a coffee shop or bar and then hit the strip club for leisure...but hey, probably just their idea of a great place to write.

Obviously there is no right answer...write whereever and whenever you can be most effective.

I mostly write at home on my couch or living room floor (rather than my desk in my office) with a laptop but also do it at other spots when necessary too.

Notes are done old fashion style in notebooks and this happens everywhere but usually the script work is done at home on my couch or floor with sportscenter or movies as white noise.

I'd love to hear the case for his method from this TV writer though, maybe I should try something new :)

Maybe someone should invent a 'tubtop" computer... :bath:

Seriously a good idea...I think soon tub/shower entertainment stations will be common and once you can watch cable in the tub, next will be internet and then while you've got the keyboard...might as well have the ability to write there too.
