Where do you buy your software?

buying software in general is a bad idea; you get these crazy theories about everything working right and suddenly feel the need to buy new hardware to take advantage of all the new software/hardware perks you are missing, and next thing you know you are broke, half of what you were sure would work 100% is down, your googling workarounds, nothing is getting done, and you have the UPS guy knocking at your door for yet another piece of hardware that will just bring more headaches...

Seriously though overstock does sometimes have decent deals on software; only times ive found it (i dont go there often) is way too late for me to want/use it.

the only bit of software i've bought online is Cineform Neoscene over a year ago. and i bought it and downloaded it straight from them. otherwise, if it's not in a box in a store, and i can hold it, and carress it, and it has that impossible to penetrate factory tape over the opening...no thanks.

I sometimes buy software from toolfarm.com. They're pretty reputable, they offer discounts on some stuff and they have decent customer service. And they also offer a lot of plugins and a decent variety of software.
