where do you buy pvc?

home depot only has pvc with a bell shape at one end. so it isn't flat. is there anywhere else to get it?

Ace Hardware, Lowes, almost any hardware store. If you dont see it, ask at the front for schedule 40 PVC, it comes in 10' lenghts.

You should be able to get shorter lengths too.. I regularly buy 5' lengths.

The "bell shaped" pvc you are referring to is for electrical conduit. Check in the plumbing section for the appropriate pvc.

Can't you just hacksaw the bell off of it?

The "bell" is the built in coupler on 20 foot sticks. The 10'sticks do come from the supplier without the coupling on it. If you want long one piece sticks, it would be easier just to hack it off. You only loose about 2"
