Went to Hong Kong recently with my girl-friends family and purchased it there.. Girl-friends parents are Chinese and did all the talking for me :-)

My girl-friends Uncle is a professional photographer who also was there giving his two cents worth... Occasionally the salesman would glance at me and smile then re-engage in more talk... eventually after 15 mins he came out with a shoping trolley full of gifts and of course my DVX100 :O

Large bag of extras: tripod, tapes, filter, backpack style bag, pillows! :) , food & beverage vouchers for some cafe that was nice, plus all the standard accessories.

I paid 5,155.96 AUS dollars (3,564.13 US dollars) brand new with all the extras. Considering this camera costs nearly $7000 to buy brand new in AUS im v.happy.

They even sent over the warranty and other papers once we arrived back.
 
hi, nahs.

i'll be leaving for Hong Kong on the 15th of September. Do you know where in HK the DVX100 was bought?
