Where did VFR go?

I have been using the AF-100 A LOT the past 3 months and it's been fantastic. Something weird happened today on day 4 of a 5 day shoot. Towards the end of the shoot I went to switch to VFR mode using the dial select as I had been doing frequently all week and it didn't appear. It would give me "Syncro Scan" "Shutter" and "Lock", but no VFR. When I went into the scene file that I had been using all week VFR Mode was set to OFF, and was greyed out and wouldn't let me change it. Shooting on the same card I had shot VFR stuff earlier that day.

I am assuming something weird got pressed, but why can't I get into VFR anymore?

Thoughts?
