Also called a "spud". But... don't buy the Matthews with the little thumbscrew. get the Avenger which has a proper T-handle.

TVMPs are pretty beefy little things - for small lights and DIY, look into stand adapters. Fits a 5/8 stand, with a 3/8 threaded post:
