Where can a student get a really cheap or even free HVX?

I really need an HVX for several projects but I have no money! I have read books about independent filmmakers and how they were able to get Panavision cameras for free and film developed half off,etc. Anyone have an idea of where I could start the crying and begging?

Your college film department... but you'll have better luck getting a 16mm or 35mm camera because HVX's are in short supply right now.
 
how do you feel about hooking

if guys are your thing or you can stand doing that you shouldn't have much trouble

if not you'll have to go with old ladies

but it can be done ... if you really want it :cheesy:

kinda broke these days actually and I still have the Little Bo Peep outfit if you're interested.
 
Ok, This may work...

Go to the nearest rich old Lady/Man hang-out in your area. If you live in a small town, go to a big town. Find a lonely old Lady/Man of your choice ... Talk nice to them, laugh at their stories (which will be many & the same ones over and over). Rub their old scaly feet, pluck hairs they can't get to & go to the doctor with them.

Then, when they really are comfortable with ALL this new LOVE, over a bland dinner one nite, let it slip there is a childhood dream you have always had, of having your own 200. See if that works ...

If not, go back to the same place and pick a new fossil and start again ...
Stories, feet, doctor vists, colostomy bags ...



Or get a job at Taco Bell.
