Where are all the filmmakers?

Guys, Brandon has some great prizes arranged.

Remember its not about the $, its not about the camera, its not about your experience - its about having a go.

DVXfest is a great way to learn and work on the craft of filmmaking!

I'm really looking forward to watching all the VillainFest shorts.

Yeah, it's been pretty quiet in there. FictionFest was my first entry, and I received a ton of constructive criticism! I'll be doing everything I can to enter every Fest.

... for me it's the BTS video requirement. As a true one-man-band, I'm lucky if I can get the shots I need and have no time (or another person) for shooting this stuff.
Not everyone wants to be in front of the camera either (ie., me), just saying. That was the reason I couldn't compete in FictionFest.

Best of luck to all that enter... I'll certainly be watching & enjoying all the films.

Zaza, I think if you just interview your actor on set, that would count. You could even stay behind the camera.
I'm willing to bet that they wouldn't disqualify you for that.

For "Jenny" I just used my wife's iphone to walk around the house talking about it. I set nothing nothing up, and it wasn't great quality.

More news on your linear duck issue:

Evidently the only time they line up is when they are following their mother to the water!

Not good for electronic video capture equipment!

Maybe skew duck syndrome (SDS) is a good sign!

This may be the sign you have been waiting for!

Carpe Duck dude!
