When you buy a 100B

Hi,

It comes with a Battery, 5400mA, a charger, and the cables to make that work, a mic holder, a remote control, a cleanning tape, although they may have changed that to a recording tape, and the instruction book. If it is a US unit, it also contains a letter from Panasonic, thanking you and telling you where to log on for your free DVX Book and Red Giant Software, this will also kick start the rebate.

Hope that helps,

Jan

Just got mine yesterday from New Egg. The serial number passed on the Panasonic website once I realized that the "1" was actually an "I".

----------------------------
The camera comes double boxed. The shipper added another box with styrofoam peanuts.

A manual. On Page 7 is a list of the other accessories that should have been packed with your camera and that came with mine. (Battery, AC adapter, AC power supply cord, DC cord, Wireless remote and coin-type battery, Eye cup, Mic holder, 2x 6mm & 2x 12mm screws, Mic holder adapter, Shoulder belt, Lens Cap strap, Mini DV cassette tape.)

A customer survey sheet.

A two page "Precautions when connecting the DV (IEEE1394) cable" yellow pamphlet.

A disclaimer for Puerto Rico and one for Canada.

A Rebate Sheet. Heading is "Panasonic ideas for life".

You don't need special cables, just standard RCA or S-video. Who doesn't have a few of these lying around.

o yea, I have a lot of those hanging around... from other cameras
