When used with the CBK-WA01 Wi-Fi Adapter, Can the PMW-F3 do Live Logging?

XMPilot and the XDCAM Browser 2.0 support Live Logging features, with a wireless video picture for some XDCAM cameras... but I can't find any hard documentation or user stories of actually getting live logging out of the PMW-F3... nor do I find any documentation excluding it... and it apparently can be used with the CBK-WA01 at least for planning meta data.

Does anyone know if the PMW-F3 can do live logging with the wi-fi adapter?

I believe the documentation was in a previous firmware update. Version 1.1 possibly.

The major point of the wifi device was to do live logging.

Is that a confirmation? From personal experience?

I was aware of the "planning metadata" being mentioned in reference to wi-fi and the PMW-F3, but I haven't found any hard confirmation that the PMW-F3 will do live logging with video feed over the Wi-Fi Adapter. Would love to know from someone who's used this feature...

From the Manual: http://ws.sel.sony.com/PIPWebServic...-asset-250125/original/PMW-F3_Supp_Manual.pdf

The Live Logging function allows you to send and receive metadata between this camcorder and a computer.
The following operations are available on the
computer.
• Add and edit metadata (titles, comments,
essence marks, etc.)
• Transfer the added or edited metadata from the
computer back to the camcorder to write to the
original medium.
The Live Logging function is available any time
during recording.

You can do the metadata with the F3, but you won't get a picture.

That requires the 700, 800, or 500 cameras that also record XDCAM proxies.
