When to use 30p?

I was wondering when you guys use 30p or if you use it at all. Is it meant for a certain type of shooting or just an option for personal prefernce. It Kinda resmebles 24p.

Artistic choice. It IS, however, your worst choice if you ever want to go to film out.

I use it primarily for slow-mo stuff in 24P projects. Or when wanting to extract still photos, like when taking shots for ebay...

I used it for a TV pilot's opening sequence. It allowed for easy cutting with the rest of the 60i footage (and the 30fps effects) - but it gave it a less harsh 'video' look that 60i would have.
