When is it on sale in the UK?

That's the *unofficial* release date according to reservoir.

Just kidding Sam...no date has been announced yet for any countries. We should know by Monday the 18th. ~reservoir~
 
Official Panny statement four weeks ago: By the end of this year. So expect it to hit dealers' shelves early December.

We've been told it will be "by the end of the year"
8GB cards will be released in August.
The 60gb PCM Card reader/drive will be released in September.

The camera won't be released until both of those are available.

So, sometime between September and December (and obviously it will probably be 'later' rather than 'sooner,' so December is a safe bet)
 
It should definately be *BEFORE* December. That's a bad time to introduce a 6-7 thousand dollar camera....in my opinion. I think October or November at the latest.
