When is Cineporter coming out!!!!!!!!!

I called them a few days ago and they just said Q4 was the best estimate they could give me and I should just keep checking their website.
 
If you're going to add an unnecessary amount of punctuation to your title, at least be correct and use question marks... :D

I too await the Cineporter, however...
 
Recently the guys told us that they were redesigning things and this would cause a delay. They didn't say how long but it sounded like we may have to wait untill 2007. On the other hand, now that the FS100 supports native mode and variable framerates through automatic redundant frame removal, you may consider that (it can also do thumbnails now).
 
Hey David, thats interesting news, so you say the fs100 can do native modes "natively"?

In other words, plugging to 720p(because of the firewire signal)and the firestore can decide if i want 2fps or 50??

That would be great, but hard to trust those news...!?!
 
It can drop the extra frames, but I don't think it is capable of recording 720pn though. According to Barry, you could always record multiple frame rates with the firestore, though. I dont know if that includes the frame rate hacks or not. There is a new thread on it somewhere, talking about the firmware update. It should be along in a couple of months apparently.
