When in record mode, my DVX screen looks like something from the movie white noise

It looks to me like it is saying "processing signal" I know it is not my viewfinder or LCD because playback is clear. It won't record either. I think it could possibly be a ribbon cable. Also it was in very high temperature that whole week. Please help me!!!!

Most likely melted something on the board... Find a reputable servicing center and talk to them.
