Hi.
I'd like to be clear of the significance of F-Stop numbers turning yellow. I've searched the manual but so far have not been able to find the explanation. This will occur when I'm in aperture priority mode.
While I'm at it, I'm curious about the the histogram too. Here I've found some explanation in the manual but that explanation leaves me a little confused. It says, page 309: "When the recorded picture and histogram do not match each other under the following conditions, the histogram is displayed in orange". One of those circumstances is: "When the Manual Exposure Assistance is other than [+0] during Exposure Compensation or in the manual Exposure Mode".
When I make adjustments using the Exposure Compensation the histogram does change colour, though I'd call it yellow not orange. But what does it mean? Page 309 says this happens when: "recorded picture and histogram do not match each other". What I see on my now-yellow histogram as i change exposure values are the changes in the histogram I want - i.e. a better exposure. in what way could one say that this amounts to a situation where: "recorded picture and histogram do not match each other"? And why does the histogram turn yellow?
Thanks.
