If a client asks for his event to be shot in HD; would I be jipping him by giving him an exported piece that is 960 x 720? Should I always shoot in 1080i with my P2 when a client asks for HD?
 
Why would you give him an exported piece that's 960x720? Surely you would render it out as 1280x720, and that is HD.

Ask your client what he wants his deliverable to be, he may specify 1080i and then you'd have your answer.
