What's your favorite album or CD?

[David G. Smith]

Ok, what about music. What is your favorite album or CD?

Mine would be "London Calling" by the Clash. I heard it at a Christmas party in my senior year in high school and was blown away. It changed the way I listened to music from that day forward.

So what's yours?

Let's try to keep it to one, we want to avoid John Hudson's invariable post, "This is where we list all the obscure jazz albums we could think of."

[TheMacB]

just like with favorite film, this question will get a different answer out of me every day.

right now, i'm digging Swordfish Trombones by Tom Waits. good old-fashioned american songwriting with poetic lyrics.

jayz "the black album"

'Physical Graffiti' by Led Zeppelin

I'm sure you thought it'd be Blue Oyster Cult's 'Agents of Fortune'.

[Phil]

Mine changes every year. This year is Fall Out Boy, I bought both their cd's and put it into my ipod, so I don't know which songs, but they're good...

I always correlate the song with the time in my life...I stop listening to certain songs, if something bad happened, when I was listening to it...

I've stopped listening to a lot of songs now that I think about it! heh

[Kirk Gillock]

For a while it was James, "Laid". Then it changed to Radiohead, "Kid A".

Good stuff.

[J.R. Hudson]

Nice one Terry!

This is hard. My favorite band ever is THE BEATLES but abum I guess is:

[kai]

right now im hooked on Jamie Cullum "Twentysomething", James Taylor greatest hits, and anything Ben Folds (solo).

Yeah it's more than one, tough.

[David G. Smith]

Yeah, I know one is tough....

But when are the rules followed around here?

[sink]

I met ben folds a few years ago, he's a pretty little guy... but anyway

Mike Doughty- Skittish

[ecarr]

[Terry_Lasater]

Dunno about 40 big ones, but... Pat Boone can rock it, baby! Oh, yeah!!!

[David G. Smith]

Pretty much anything by Social Distortion has been sounding good to me lately. Especially the album "Sex, love and rock n' roll". Good stuff.....But like alot of people on here, it changes fairly often.

[JoeFowler]

I'm sure you thought it'd be Blue Oyster Cult's 'Agents of Fortune'.

"More caaoo bell!"

I'd say Hemispheres by Rush is my all time favorite, but right now it's Deloused in the Comatorium by The Mars Volta.

[PDX_DVX]

The Mars Volta is a great band. If I'm not mistaken, didnt "At the Drive In" split into Sparta and Mars Volta? All 3 of the groups were/are awsome...

[Constantine]

"Mutter" by Rammstein...so cinematic...so hard...so fun...
