what's wrong

You have a PAL -camera, right? You obviously used the standard 1/50th shutter speed and the 25p mode in your camera. Next time try higher shutter speeds and you'll get rid of that unwanted motion blur. I would also try shooting in 50i mode and then just slow the clips duration to 50%.

Correct me if I was totally wrong.

i'm using PAL camera , this shot is in 50i , shutter speed - 1/120
when i put footage on 25p timeline and use twixtor and after that change duration to 50% it is still interlaced video and looks like slowed without using twixtor ...maybe i have bad plugin :( ....i don't know. i think it needs more experiments.
maybe i'll send you my footage and you try slow it (it's only 7mb)??
 
i have motionperfect which works kinda the same as twixtor, but my stuff has never come out like that...do you want to deinterlace before applying the slo-mo or have you done that?
 
listen, if you want to slow your footage down alot, which you are, and you dont want that blur, you have to keep in mind that a shutter speed of even 1/120th might not be fast enough for the speed of the moving object to not blur in slow motion.

try the next one up from that and do it again. then de interlace it. see what happens.
 
am i not getting the same stuff...i see some hardcore interlacing when the skater appears...i'm not seeing blur am i looking at the wrong thing?

okay i just watched the original footage. what are ytou settings for twixtor? when i use motion perfect on interlaced footage i don't get interlacing on my render...however if there's blur then people may get 3 legs, extra fingers, etc :)

i have motion perfect too but a final movie have poor quality...
i made many test and the best final effect is when i put 50i file on 25p timeline
and slow 50% without using twixtor ... but screen is shaking...
.... maybe i'm too stupid to unterstand english manuals.... :/
