I just bought a rode ntg2 mic. Love it. The problem is, i recently shot a movie with it and its sounded fine during the shoot. After we were done, I tried capturing the tape on my samsung minidv camera that I use as a deck, but all of a sudden, NO AUDIO!. I flipped out. But when I captured with my DVX100B, the audio was working. Does this mean that I cant capture with regular handy cams no more? And have to use my DVX100B and wear it out. Is there a way out of this or setting that I need to do? Your help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I se the RODE NTG-2, and I capture with a little handy cam as well. IT works fine.
I think your problem is the audio port in your MiniDV camera. You have it under warranty?

cable? is the handycam set to vcr mode? how about the project settings, audio mixer properties.
