I was browsing B&H recently and noticed that the DVX is listed under the prosumer section but then the DVC20 is listed under the profesional section. What's up with that?!? The DVX is clearly way better. I own the DVX and I have used the DVC20 a lot in school and the DVX blows it away. Even the specs show this, I mean the DVC20 is only a 1/6" CCD. In fact the only thing more professional about the DVC20 is it's size.
Truthfully, even compared to the XL2, the DVX should be in the professional section. The DVX is arguably an equal if not better camera that the XL2. I have used this camera as well at school and the only things that are better are the native 16x9 CCD and the interchangeable/removable lens.
I think the DVX should be getting the respect it deserves and shouldn't be in the same catagory as the GL2, etc.
