whats the red x ?

may be a dumb question but I don't have my manual with me.
on location, was shooting and a red stop sign looking thing with an X in the middle of it showed up in the top left corner of my lcd screen
any ideas of what it is?

How long have you had your camera and how many hours do you have on the heads?
