God knows how long ago i shot some greenscreen plates with HVX200 and only now they are being composited. We shot 1080i24p but if i remember correctly the camera's resolution is not 1080p native... What is it then?
What's the native resolution of HVX200

Depends on what question you're asking...
The pixel count on the chips is 960x540. That doesn't tell the whole story though, as it uses spatial offset to boost the actual perceived resolution up substantially.
As far as resolved detail, it's approximately 1440 x 810.
Then there's the recording format question, as DVCPRO-HD prefilters its recordings to a smaller frame size. 720p gets recorded at 960x720, and 1080 gets recorded at 1440x1080 (50Hz) or 1280x1080 (60Hz).
The combination of the spatial offset chipset's 1440x810 detail and the recording format's prefilter down to 1440 made for a pretty good combination at the time.
